Thanks QOT. The whole thing was confusing me and then i got to thinking hydraulic must be better but couldn't work out a reason why. If you dont mind me picking your brains, would you have to use less force to achieve the same braking with a hydraulic brake against a mechanical brake? Hope that makes sence.Would you run a mechanical brake purely on the basis of reliability?
