Hi all, Thanks for the replies really helpfull,I was unfortunatley coming to the same conclusion as you have, that either Rotax 177 or Formula Blue are the ways forward.

Though I still think that TKM is a good way to get some practice and enter a few races eg the Festival may be an idea as a good way of dipping our toes into the world of karting with out committing ourselves to far and also gaining lots of very valuable experience into how to run/maintain a kart and driving/racing a kart.
