Why would you want to do a compression test. It wont tell you a lot. providing your piston / bore clearnce is not too large (can be measured to determine clearance) and providing the ring is in reasonable nick there is no need to do a compression test its not like you have valves that are not seating properley.

The only pressure test that I would like to do but cannot find a suitable tester is a bottom end pressure test to determine whether the seals need replacing. I used to have one for the 210 and found it very usefull. Bottom end leaks dramatically reduce performance.
