A point to remember is that if the mating surface to the hub is not masked off and left bare, when you bolt the wheels on it could cause the wheel to wobble if the thickness of paint is not even.

Also, if the paint is new, it could 'settle'and result in the nuts loosening slighly, so check after the first outing, especially if you use K nuts that have lost their locking ability.

You can save money by stripping them yourself with Nitromors Automotive paint stripper.
