There was another cadet driver that Ron Dennis sponsered, it was Wesley Graves,he got dropped after a season or so.

Another myth is that Hamilton asked Ron Dennis to sponser him at a Buckmore Park meeting and make him F1 Champion...as if Ron Dennis is a regular at Buckmore!

Rd was at Buckmore, with David Coulthard to watch a round of Chanpions of the Future.

The facts are Martin Hines is a good friend of RD and they came up with the idea of a karting championship called "Champions of the Future" backed by Mclaren F1, and Lh won the championship, thats how he met RD...so without Martin Hines friendship with RD,the chances are RD would never have heard of or met Hamilton.
