I have no specific knowledge of the Viper brake, but I would assume that providing the master cylinder is returning properly, the problem is likely to be accumulated dirt around the caliper pistons, possibly compounded by air in the system. Strip it down, clean it out and bleed out the air, and it should be ok. If pulling the master cylinder lever returns them, then its a master cylinder problem.
