I just LOVE that sentence:-

"If you cant' get a dummy gudgeon pin you can either turn one out of aluminium....."

Errrr..... how many of us do you THINK have a lathe or are skilled enough to use one?

I've 'Packing with Grease' method for ALL my karts for about 30 years. It IS more time consuming and it CAN be fiddly but, as I don't own a lathe.... it's a pretty GOOD method.... if you are patient and CAREFUL.

If you have a lathe.... good on you, mate!
