We have raced the Maranello chassis for over 6 months and in the wet the chassis is outstanding.

We have raced Rowrah over 30 times over 5 years.

Since the new tarmac we have raced Rowrah 5 times, 1 dry and the rest wet/damp.

Saturday was wet all day and we set the Maranello up as our previous info (We run a Unipro 6003 which is infinate in valuable information it gives).

Sunday was a difficult day, wet....dry....wet....etc....

1st heat we got it wrong....all were on slicks, we were on inters....we NEARLY did it but of course it should have been slicks...

We run (and have done since Feb 1st) the NEW clutches on BOTH our engines....they do not, cannot slip !!!!!!!!

We race EVERY weekend resulting in bum in seat time and the driver getting stronger and more experienced in this class !

We are a father and son team, difficult when quick changes are needed...many hands and all that !

Our wet tyres were new Saturday !

Our clutch....tyres and other parts were tested like others !

On the rolling lap of the final the poleman's engine unfortunately bogged down allowing several left side drivers through...we, and several others were caught in a 2nd hairpin incident but Andy was able to continue going forward.

15 laps is a long race.....

Andy is a very good wet driver....level playing field and all that !

Our set up for the wet final was;

12-87 gearing
K98 pin 2
145 jet YES...145 JET !
12.5 carb
IW 24 plug
2nd engine
Full new wets @ 17psi from day before

And a very well set up Maranello with 15kgs of lead afixed to it !

So Cleanaholic (or C or A as you call yourself) if you'd like me to help you or Declan at any circuit you only need to ask and I'll gladly help.

Chris
