Are you kidding me?
I ran 8psi in drying conditions at clay last friday..? And it worked!
With W2's I'd say 18psi for very wet conditions, and then come's the difficult question of if it's drying but still damp do you want the heat in the tyres to get grip, which will eventually result in overheating? Or can you cope for a few laps while they come in and stay there.

40 psi? 2 ballistic laps?

Just stay in the mid to low teens, Clay's always open testing on a friday, and it basically has a drive through pits, so why not just try, start with the pressures higher and do a few laps and come in, drop them etc etc. Obviously dont do this for too long as temperature remains even if the pressure is lowered.

But for the wet all we do is square off the kart, bring the rears in and the fronts out. Asssuming you are a Rotax, at clay we ran between 12/76 in the drying conditions to 12/80/1 when it's actually wet. Jetting wise, we went down to about a 152 with pin setting 2, sounds lean, but it works. And we had a Denso IW24 plug in which is the wet/cold plug.

Have a good day, we had a great time last week!
