With the National Championships about to start and given your experience at the weekend it sounds like Paul and the scrutineers at all tracks will have a hard time with this one until someone decides which course of action will be taken on interpreting and enforcing the rules.
To my mind a number of options are available to the scrutineers.
1. Accept that in the normal course of events "some" grease will find its way inside the clutch drum.
2. Use Nylon bushes for all sprocket sizes.
3. Change the rules to say that the needle bearing must not be lubricated.
Option 1, the current legal interpretation of the rules is fraught with problems, so it has to be either 2 or 3.
Let's wait to see what JAG come up with tomorrow.
