If by performance gain you mean do you go any quicker I'd probably say no.

What you will find is that you get a lot less (almost zero !) failures after the carb has been cleaned a few times and the carb renmains consistent for a lot longer.

You'd be surprised how much "stuff" comes out of the galleries when you put a conventionally cleaned carb into the u/sonic tank !! I'll show you at 3-Sisters if you're doing the Platinum Cup.
