as it happens i just rebuilt mine today for the first time - the filter was well bunged up.. which would explain the odd cought the engine developed during my last test session.

Luckily for me mine started again first time after blowing enough fuel into the bowl.

A few things to check....
- are you getting a spark at all??
- try to start it without the air box attached - can you see fuel flying about in the carb (you SHOULD)
- as others have said dry the spark plug with a blow torch.
- check youve not nudged any of the ignition electrics.
