Although it is great that you and your son want to get out and race i am assuming that you are new to the sport what you need to consider is if it is fair on your son to put him out against most of the top drivers in his 1st race? and it being so important for so many of our young drivers? Have you thought about letting him build his skills at tracks like tatershall or woodthorpe 2 that i know that r close to pfi where he will still be competetive in a B1 and gain his racing craft and both get good grids of wtps to race against.It took me a yr to understand how to set the karts up for my lads and am still learning. good luck either way
