Hello KJM , obviously dont just wrench them with a pair of pliers , but do it so they maintain the zig zag shape they have to start with but finish 6mm above the float bowl nice and parallel . In reality its the diagonal part that will be at a different angle not the float arms , they will just be higher but still parallel with the carb body . This is why I only ever used the bigger 5.2g floats as 3mm was ideal for them and only involved minute tweeking to set correctly rather than the re-shape of the lever arm for the smaller ones , but I dont know if they are allowed in mini-max , also you would need the correct idle jets to go with them as well ...
