Dont hate me for suggesting this.... but you do have a keyway in for the disk carrier?

If you do - then its 100% you have an air lock and your not getting the pressure needed. Pads even if glazed on a kart (IF bled properly) will still stop you reasonably...

Have you bought a bleeding tool yet, if not - its well worth buying one as makes your life so easy....
