Hi Booney, you can use that combination, there are a few combinations you can use, firstly either 12.5 or 8.5 carb (this is the venturi size) 12.5 or 8.5 relates to the small hole in the bottom of the venturi, generally people say 12.5 for fast flowing and 8.5 for tight and twisty, you can use the heavy or light floats with either, you can also use both needles with either carb, the only fixed combination is the idle jet, float combination, you must use the 30s with the 5.2g floats and you must use the 60s with the 3.6g floats other than that you can mix it up as you wish, saying that you should check your rule book in the class in which you race, as they may not even inforce that???
