Perhaps someone can explain why, at their last club meeting, Whilton Mill took it upon themselves to ask for the removal of all Rotax clutch covers, in all classes, to be removed prior to gaining entry to the dummy grid.

NO grease was allowed to be on the shoes or drum.

Seeing as there is no fiche for the clutch and that 'grease' is expected to be present in the bearing and 'may' find itself onto the components, by what 'edict' do the scrutineers operate under, that gives them the permission to interpret the clutch rules differently?
