I've gone from 100cc to TKM to Max. I'm no fan of Max either... but you have to go where the grids are. Much as I absolutely adore 100cc, I would definitely steer well clear of those for fun/craic unless you're very well heeled. True you can extend the life by rev-limiting them, but then what's the point... you may as well bolt on your TKM.
