Lasers are very useful if your lazy..
However they can be distracting for drivers.
We tend to not borrow them that oftern as i hate seeing one side is possibly out by what is a couple of mm over quite a large distance. It doesnt make much difference as the kart is constantly moving over bumps etc. But to a driver it can get in their head and become an excuse or a bigger distraction out on the track.
Next time sit in your kart, and push your legs hard on the foot rest (if you have one) or just push back hard in the seat. See how much the kart bends. then think about that 1-2mm you fiddled with on the lazers on the stand.
The only time we check is if iv had a knock on the front.
