Hi Chris
A good race meeting with challenging conditions. The HKC guys did a great job again in very difficult circumstances.
I agree with Banzai Boy. Overnight & the morning there were huge quantities of water descending on Rye. After that you had a green track but no heat from the sun therefore in TKM we needed our wets. In the final, we were watching the track & we changed from good wets to scrufy wets to slicks as the sun boiled off the water. That was very hot when the sun came out. While we had a relativily green track, we had enough heat to allow slicks to work. You just need to keep looking & react. This time most of us got it right.
