I'm told that the engine wont work at all if you block the breather pipe completely, but surely the pulses through the pulse pipe would be MUCH stronger if you did.
Anybody explain why it wont work?
For example Is the positive pulse stronger than the negative pulse (or vice versa), so the pump diaphragm gets displaced to one side and cant come back to centre and pump fuel as there is no balance line at atmopheric pressure?
