My guess is that there is too much money involved, despite what Steve C says, Atol do make a good profit from all kart meetings, they do not do it for the love of the sport!

The links between suppliers and S1 go back decades, they all originate from the west country, where Neil Hann comes from, before JKH had the tyre contract, it was Malcolm Budd from the West country, Im not saying there is anything wrong in that, but that is the link.
