I don't think that anything other than a pursuit of larger grids, have made most driver's switch. When TKM grids are big, the racing is far more exciting to watch than any other class, maybe with the exception of most Cadet classes, whcih I find particularly brilliant.

Frankly, I hope that Tal-Ko wait to see if the changes that they have proposed, revive the class, before resorting to changing the Tyres.
