GrahamS, you've pre-empted my next move. PFI have camera coverage of some of the track hot-spots and I believe the chicane is one of them. It is likely that they have Tom's accident on CCTV if they have retained it; I'll ask the question. Tom's kart has a right front stub axle bent upwards and a twist in the chassis the same way from the initial impact with various other components damaged in the inverted slide. It would be interesting to know what damage was evident on the kart Tom hit (no.53). I'll drop a note into our original thread where Brandon's father responded previously.
