just out of interest, does the speed of the rotax over the tkm appeal to anyone at all...would be interesting to find out if the kids like it because of the extra speed, or just the ease of the kart to start/ drive

it strikes me that tkm do need a tag engine, but it should have been developed/ fine tuned and equalised with current engines so they can run side by side with clutches and direct drive karts, and im sure over the next few years if it works the direct drive karts will phase out, thus giving a viable alternative to rotax...however at the moment the tag engine is too slow....
