Having finally witnessed with anticipation the best of British Karting i.e. Super 1, I have to wonder what all the fuss is about with some unbelievably poor discipline from drivers with regard to the starting process and a total disregard for their equipment. L
Some thoughts I came away with.
What is the purpose of KF1? There is no discernable different in lap times between it and KF2 and the performance spectacle from such an expensive class is just not there.
Why does everyone appear to be under considerable stress. Folks didn’t appear to be smiling or enjoying the experience of participating with his or her sons & daughters for the weekend. Ahh Jaysus lads, it’s only a load of pipes at the end of the day…
Anyway, well done to all of the organisers, especially everyone at the UKC and not forgetting the parents who finance the whole thing for the huge effort in coming over. Don’t be strangers now..
