So you're saying it only runs at full throttle, ie butterfy fully open.

When it is running, does it sound ok or is it misfiring?

Did you do anything to the engine in between it working ok last time and the time it didn't work?

Are all the gaskets in place between the carb components?

Is the compression good?

Is the pulse pipe cracked?

Could you test the crankcase by slightly pressurisig it through the inlet manifold with the piston at TDC?

Who rebuilt it?

Could it have the timing set way off because the ignition has been put back incorrectly.

You can probably see the old screw marks.

There's not much to fixing these engine really.
