You will need to take the clutch drum off, get a Piston stop and a 17mm spanner and unbolt the screw (left hand thread), once the clutch drum is off clean the shoes with brake cleaner, clean the clutch drum with brake cleaner. Put it back together and start engine on a stand and warm up, Once warm place your left hand on rear wheel and slowly increase revs by adjusting throttle leaver on carb, now feel for the biting point, it should be between 4000 and 5000 revs. If no biting point then the clutch is US and you will need to buy a new one, you will also need a clutch puller tool to take the clutch off. you can get evereything you need from Kartparts.co.uk.
Hope this helps
