Trying to go into 7th will feel the gearstick just stopped short of dropping into gear,dont worry about that though,watch most on board shots and you'll hear driver looking for that all elusive 7th all the time.

As for counting gears,yes you could count up or down but you'll find once your used to a track and done a handfull of flyers you'll get to know which gear your in and you'll change down automatically.

I definately reccomend having a go in a gearbox,mindblowing,its always feasible lol!
