Who helped create them grids at Hooton? They came from nothing to what they are now.
You know what the funny thing is Neal, everybody who I speak to prefers the track at Wigan but they still don't race there. Hooton started with 38 at it's first race meeting, that's 38 competitors in total. Why did the grids grow?
Your assumption that competitors follow the grids is wrong. Hooton had about 9 TKM's in it's first year but that number grew as newcomers came into the sport. It was Hooton's efforts that grew the grids and it's the passion Bob has for racing that keeps it the way it is.
I think you need to be more proactive instead of using Hooton as a scape goat for the decline in grids at Wigan.
