we were members at MBKC when they used to run at GYG- never did understand the politics of that one!! . We also went twice I think to Wigan for JTKM and sorry to say Neal - at that time were very put off by the lack of help from the club organisers - we were novices and a bit green | suppose then - but we were just the sort of people that MBKC should have been encouraging . So it kind of stuck with us that the atmosphere was not as good as other circuits which is why we didn't respond to an invitational promotion that was tried. Now we are much more experienced we would perhaps come back if others could be persuaded to make a reasonably competitive grid- we now have a junior and a soon to be senior in the family
but possibly MBKC could perhaps up it's game on people skills and encouraging newcomers instead of treating the newbies a bit like complete numpties which is how we felt at the time but I do accept that may not be the case now - and we would be prepared to give it another go - sorry if you think I have been unduly critical
