Over the years we've had nylon, ali, mag and even plastic wheels [anyone remember the 'revolutionary' Dino 2-piece wheels in the 1980s that used to break when you tightened the bolts]. Something I've always wanted to know was what was the relative difference between nylon and ali... and most of all plastic and ali.
