Actually I didn’t know that, John. I don’t follow that closely what goes on in Rotax (though my son does have a Minimax - for practice use only), and MSA-related matters don’t hold my interest for very long, either. I’m not a member of that association also because they don’t want me – did I mention that already?
I find all this very puzzling: I envisage the MSA as a body that effectively takes little interest in karting, quickly rubber-stamps whatever it's fed by the powers that be within karting (whoever they may be, and whatever interests might motivate them) and then gets back to its big, shiny cars. Am I wrong? If I’m right, why is it so hard for karters to get control?
