There are so many grey areas in racing, when does accidental contact become pushing etc. etc. But surely this is one area that could and should be very clear, you are either within the track boundries or you are not.
Sure somebody turns in on you or squeezes you across the line, then you might feel agrieved at getting a warning flag, but you'd probably feel better if they got a flag as well for making the contact.
All these problems need is some consistent and fortright application of penalties in the short term. Very quickly the penalties wont be needed because everyone will drive within the rules to avoid them.
To do nothing, for whatever excuse/reason, just leads to a downward spiral in driving standards.
