The hot knife doesn't work if it's ripped along the moulding line where the boxy bit is or too many rivets have been torn out.

If it's supposed to be a safety item, why can it be ripped off by a passing kart and the very next second you are punted into the barrier without any foot protection.

It just seems that these ideas are ill thought out.

Why can the cadet one be BOLTED on and seniors cannot.

You're not even allowed to use cable ties to stop it flying through the air like a giant aboriginal boomerang.

That would at least be something.

Then you get a scrut busting you for a little bit of worn plastic underneath, when you have the potential for depositing a bloody great lump of plastic on the track.

I've seen a cone wreck a kart when it's been left on the start line.

Crazy.

Who dreams these things up?
