I agree that with the new O ring there should be no grease in the drum. That is what Rotax/Jag intended
My point is that in trying to clarify the rules, I think they have left an area open to interpretation.
Define "The internal running surface" Is it just where the clutch block touches the drum or is it the whole of the drum.
I had my clutch checked by the scrutineer today. The contact areas on the drum and the clutch block were both dry, but there was a slight build up of old grease/crud on the drum just to the side of where the block rubs on the drum.(I last took it off at the south west champs).
Is that still on the running surface or not. Would I get excluded for it?
