I walked down the grid before the finals; the fastest karts with restrictors were in 3rd and (I think) 8th.

I'm running the restrictor as without it I'd have 16kg of lead on the kart, which is insane; I couldn't lift it. I didn't get passed on the straight at any point, and it felt lively enough through the infield, so I'm happy enough that it's no slower than running unrestricted at 152kg. If anything I'm closer to the leaders lap times this year than last year, although that'd probably due to the new tyres making it easier for noobies like me!
