Good idea Dave, I did wonder if this would help, got to be worth a try next weekend. I've ordered a couple of sets of the cheaper pads from Spellfame as the bloke there says they're not as good as the OTK pads lol. Might even try reducing the surface area of the pad with a dremil, perhaps cut a 5mm strip through the middle.
