Thanks for that.

I have decided to go new. A few reasons really. 1/ I agree with you that you know what what you are getting
2/ As it's a spare I can live with the minor loss in power until it's 'sorted'
3/ It comes with a package of bits which is good
4/ When the main motor goes wrong I can switch bits to confirm if a part is OK or NOK. With the parts being new I will a chance to track down the problem

Of course the most important thing is that if it doesn't work well I will be able to go back to ZIP for a refund!!! .......
