If that's all it was, then you simply flooded the engine!
1) Take out plug 2) Disconnect fuel line (so no more fuel is dragged in 3) Re-connect plug lead and hold plug SAFELY against bare metal part of engine (prevents damage to coil etc.) 4) Pull starter rope many times to pump out excess fuel/oil from cylinder 5) Buy can of 'Easy Start' (made by Bradex), spray spark-plug clean and let dry (or fit new CLEAN plug) 6) Refit plug 7) Refit fuel line 8) Adjust carb setting to the 'correct' values 9) Start motor VIGOROUSLY!
If that doesn't work.
1) Remove engine 2) Tip upside down and leave to 'drain' excess fuel out of plug hole for a couple of days and occassionally pulling starter rope GENTLY 3) Re-fit and start
