There is a standard measurement from the axle to the top of the rear of the seat and like wise from the front of the seat to the front of the chassis. I think Tillet website has information of this. If not, contact your kart manufacturer / where you bought it from. This standard position is quite 'laid back' but I've found gives the best overall balance.
