Spice,

You are better off at the moment spending the money on track time. Your son is still so young and small and as he gains in experience he will get quicker.
That's not to say that the Iztech products don't make a difference. I have Iztech seats, chain guards and a rib protector. The gains are minimal; for a novice, the biggest gains will come from time on the track.
Different seats do make a difference.
