ok . what mike said .. his theory is right but the wrong way round . every team i have run with has told me this ... stiff axle makes the back end lift easyer whilst giving more grip in a different way . a soft axle makes it lift less but transfers the weight instead . so has the same effect but in a different way . that also removes grip . depends if you need more or less and type of track tbh
