My rotax seems to vibrate quite a bit when you get past 7/8k revs to the point where it isnt enjoyable. The power seems to still be there. We have checked the chassis and there doesnt appear to be any cracks and seems straight so we think it may be the engine. We have taken the head off and there isnt much slop on the piston but when you take out the reed block there seems to be a couple of deep scores on the side of the piston. Would this cause this problem or do you think it could be a bottom end issue? Any help appreciated.
