Have they just been replaced if so then it might just be a thing about the gears since our engine had a complete rebuild and our engine rebuilder said that rotax gave him these new style metal gears and these were the first time he had used them. We were running ours in and it was making a knocking noise. Our engine builder said that he would go and open up the engine and check that it wasn't a problem. And sure enough everything was fine it just seemed to be a trait of the new gears. Yours might just be the same thing. Its not effecting our speed atall it just is abit anoying.
