We raced Comer Cadet at the weekend in changable conditions, the meeting was declared OPEN for tyre choice.
We put on worn wets but when we went to the grid we were told by the scrutineer that the tyres had to be changed because they did not have 2mm of tread on them even though it was a dry track and an open meeting.
For future reference can somebody confirm for me if this is correct before I throw out any tyres I would consider to be intermediates.
