Was that aimed at me? I'm not professing to have more than 5 minutes experience in karting, but I've done a bit with race engines. If you can't get peak performance out of them at the end of the running in period or shortly after, you need to change the way you run them in, or the way you build them.
It's not a black art, and the question about dyno testing just prior to a rebuild was an honest and open question to see if anyone had found a measurable power improvement with carbon buildup.
I don't think I know it all. I'm on a steep learning curve, and I appreciate all the useful advice I've had from round these parts. Seems weird that there's any need to call people names for holding an opinion.
