"Chassis - No karts designed with the use of torsion bars are permitted." I assume this means the front torsion bar. This would make both the 2008/9 Viper and Sidewinder not suitable, and even the 2000 Venom. These chassis are available at reasonable prices second hand. Would it not be better to say something like 'only chassis designed and sold with 30 mm axles, eg no 2010 chassis. Virtually all CIK chassis were designed to have removable torsion bars front and rear.
Clarification, or it could turn into a homologation nightmare as in F1 defusers etc. It was obviously clear in the mind of the proposal 'committee' but I can see a lot of "what ifs" arising.
