I don't think anyone would argue with the chassis size, but why on earth do you think an engine builder should influence the performance of a 11 or 12 year driver? If it was any other sport it would be called cheating if one competitor was able to gain an advantage over another by spending more money.
Surely one of the remits of the MSA should be to find and encourage the best young drivers, how does this help?
It can't be that complicated to select an engine based on how equal it is, then provide this as a sealed unit. For the highest level pool engines should be provided which will remove the temptation for anyone to spend loads of money.
