in terms of clutch v dd, ive always raced a clutch and never noticed a difference speed wise with the dd, some drivers say they prefer the dd cos you have engine braking helping you a bit more than the clutched kart...it depends what your after really, clutched are good for learning on because if you spin off you can get back on again no fuss, where as with dd you have to get out and push....so ul be doing a lot of pushing!...but dd is better because you dont have to have an electric starter...so its pros and cons really....if you like pushing then go dd, if you can afford a bit more for the electric starter then go clutch
